Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) invitesOnline applications from Indian nationals for the recruitment to the post of Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee) . Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may apply online from 10th Feb, 2014 to 09th March, 2014.

Essential Qualification : Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Institution with minimum of 50% marks and have valid driving license for heavy motor vehicles.

Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 18 years to 28 years as on 01/02/2014. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC candidates.

Selection Process : Eligible Candidates will be required to appear for a written Test. Shortlisted Candidates will be called for Physical Ability Test (PAT) driving Test and Interview.

Consolidated Pay Scale : 
1. For 1st year : Rs. 8,600/-.
2. For 2nd year : Rs. 10,000/-.

After Online submission of Application, Candidates have to download the system generated registration slip with unique registration number and should submit caste certificates in the format for appointment to the posts under Govt of India/ Central Govt/ Public Sector undertaking (Format available in our website www.sail.co.in) issued by Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar.

Application Fee : General Candidates nee to pay in Slip (SBI Challan) of Rs. 150/- as application + Processing fee. SC/ST Candidates are only required to pay Rs, 50 as processing fee.
